CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – A Charleston man has been sentenced to more than 12 years in prison for his role in a major drug trafficking organization. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Justin Allen Bowen, 41, of Charleston was sentenced on Aug. 31, 2023, to 12 years and seven months in prison for conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. His prison sentence is to be followed by five years of supervised release, court records say. Bowen was accused of conspiring with others to distribute meth in Kanawha County between August 2022 and December 2022.
